"Werks" was originally a CDR collection of all the IQ stuff up to 2005 - the first album "Lotek beats for the impatient", and the subsequent eps "Spidergram" and "Problematika". These tunes were written under various guises and are pretty rough round the edges, but chart the development from hiphopular tinkerings to the current day IQ. The total collapse of the previous studio had forced a time out to consider where to take things, and Werks was an effectively a line in the sand at the start of a new phase.
